  • Women's Bible Journaling and Visual Prayer

    Saturday, February 23 from 10:30am-2:00pm

    Linger longer in His Word in fellowship with others as Visual Faith Coach Candice Schwark introduces Bible journaling and visual prayer. Learn how to read, reflect, and respond creatively to His Word. Please RSVP by Feb 19 to dkersten74@gmail.com or text 734-363-2003. All supplies and a light lunch will be provided. (If you'd like to bring your own supplies, some suggestions: colored pencils, eraser, pencil, fine-tip black permanent pen.) Free will donations welcome.

  • Woman's Bible Study

    March 4 - April 2

    Mondays from 7-8pm in the Abraham room

    Tuesdays from 10-11am in the portable

    This 5-week, video-based study will be on "He Chose the Nails" by Max Lucado. No book or homework required. Just come and enjoy fellowship with Christ and other women. Please sign up on the Women's Ministry board.

  • Elderversity Presentation: Elder Law

    Thursday, March 7, 1:30-3:00pm in the Chapel

    Shannon DeWall, Elder Law Attorney, will cover various topics pertaining to senior citizens and their extended families, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and long-term care planning. If you would like to purchase lunch, please sign-up and pay $6 in the church office. Lunch will be served at 12:15pm.

  • Annual Hoedown & Chili Dinner

    Saturday, March 9 at 6:30-9:30pm in the gym

    Grab a partner for a do-si-do swingin' time! There will be square dancing fun for all ages! Sign up on the Parish Life board to bring chili. Hotdogs and beverages will be provided. A freewill offering will be taken to help support the Helping Hands fund. Invite your friends! 

  • Brown's Ministry Service Days

    Mar 9, Apr 13 ~ 8:15am-1:00pm

    Help this multifaceted ministry in Midtown Detroit. Work typically includes food sorting and packaging, odd jobs, and outside and inside cleaning. Meet at church, ride together in the van. Contact Paul Ingram or the church office to sign up.

  • Discovering St. Michael

    Sunday, March 24 at 10:15am in the Dorcas room

    Sunday, May 5 at 10:15am in the Dorcas room

    This 45-minute informal session provides details about our church, Christian community, and what we believe. It's a great way to see if you want to explore membership. No RSVP needed.

  • 2018-19 Schedule for Midweek RECHARGE

    • Sep 12 - Start date of Recharge

    • Oct 31 - No Recharge “HARVEST party” 
    • Nov 21 - No Recharge, Thanksgiving break
    • Nov 28 - Recharge occurs / No Advent Service (Pizza and Practice) 
    • Dec 5, 12, 19 - Advent Services, no Recharge
    • Dec 6 - Jan 2 - Advent - No Recharge. Musical Practice, Youth Choirs, Dance. 
    • Jan 9 - Recharge starts back up
    • Mar 6 - Ash Wednesday Service only. No Recharge dinner or programs.
    • Mar 13 - Apr 10 - Lent soup and salad dinners served. Revised Recharge schedule during Lent will include Confirmation, Teen Choir, Elementary Choir, Leaping Lambs, and Sonbeams. 
    • Apr 17 - No Recharge
    • Apr 24 - Recharge starts back up
    • May 15 - Final day of Wednesday activities
  • The Property Team is looking for help!

    This is a chance to participate in something on your own timeline. You can adopt a project or a flower bed. Contact Gregg King for more info gregg.king@canton-mi.org.

  • Small Group Bible Study

    If you would like to be part of a small group, this is the time to join one. New members are being added to groups now. Please contact Pr. Dave or the church office if you are interested 734-459-3333.

  • MOPS

    MOPS, a program to connect moms who are pregnant and / or have children newborn through kindergarten, is underway. Meetings are 1st and 3rd Tues of the month through May from 9-11:30am. You do not have to be a St. Michael member to join, so invite your friends. 


    MOPS Shepherds needed to care for the children while their moms attend the program. Any time commitment is appreciated, even once a month or a willingness to be a substitute. For more info, contact Andrea House at andreastith@yahoo.com.

  • Call To Pray

    The church sanctuary is open for prayer Monday through Friday 6-7am. Come for 15 minutes or 60 minutes to pray for your needs, your church, or your nation. Read your Bible or spend quiet time. For more information or questions, contact Joyce Hopkins through the church office.

  • The Bridge Retreat

    Thursday, May 16, 6:30-8:30pm in the Sarah room

    This class is the heart of the new member process that addresses the three Cs of Connection. Please RSVP by contacting the church office. 

  • UNSTOPPABLE

    Next date TBD in the youth room

    We will have fun, challenging games and faith-building activities for elementary-age kids, 1st-5th grade. Bring your friends!

  • Free Family Movie Night

    March - date TBD   

    A fun evening with your friends and family! Doors open at 6:30pm with movie starting at 7:00pm. Pizza slices for $1.00 and snacks $0.25. Bring a blanket and pillow and get comfy on the gym floor. Community welcome!
