Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.
Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.
Sunday School Registration for the 2021/2022 school year is open! Start Date is September 19, 10:00 - 10:45 am.

St. Michael's is starting a new program called for children in Pre-K through 3rd Grade called "Bible Time". This program will take place during both the 9:00 am and 11:00 am service. Children in this age category will listen to a Bible story and be given activity pages to complete while parents attend church service.
If your child will be attending Bible Time, we ask that you sign up as a volunteer assistant. After signing up you will be asked to choose which date you are available to be a Bible Time Assistant. There is no instruction involved, just a willingness to help and keep our teacher/child numbers within a safe ratio. This program is meant to provide parents an opportunity to serve each other as a community of parents of young children.

Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Your kids are pretty special kids. That is why we don’t want this time away from things like Sunday School and Children’s Church to deprive them of all we can give them for their spiritual journey. So, we have provided you lessons for you to use with them each week. These lessons are specifically designed to be used with varied ages within Sunday School. Just take what's helpful and leave the rest!
Lessons coordinate directly with the weekly sermon topics so you might consider watching the worship service on the weekend and then doing this lesson together. These are also the basis for our in-person class during 9:00am and 11:00am worship.
Simply click on the image or the lesson plan to download. You'll find great resources to share the weekend message with your children and engaging activities including games, crafts and prayers. There will even be a few hard copies available of the most recent lessons and activities on the lobby coffee bar during the week.
In order to keep our nursery and classrooms as healthy as possible we ask that you please keep your child home if he or she has symptoms of an illness to include (but not limited to) the following:
- Fever equal to or greater than 100 degrees
- Drainage (clear or discolored) from the eyes, nose, or ears
- Abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Sore throat
- Repetitive coughing/sneezing
- Any contagious virus or disease (flu, mumps, chicken pox, etc.)
Children should not attend Sunday School or other programs until they are symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medication. If a child is displaying any of the above symptoms, the parent/guardian will be notified and may be asked to take their child home. We want to keep everyone as healthy as possible, including our children and teachers. The children's ministry team appreciates your help. For questions please contact Kassi Gilbert, Director of Children and Family Ministries at email@example.com
Many members of our congregation have been attending Family Camps over the years. There are a few that we will cover here.
Click on each Camp link to see additional information on their offerings and registration links. If you have questions on the experience at each camp, ask other members for their feedback. Member representatives may be listed in the future to allow a point of contact for additional questions.
