Below are prayer requests that have been submitted by our congregants. Please pray for these people (and click the "hands" so they know that someone did)!
Please pray for my cousin’s 17-year-old stepson, Jay. Last Monday, September 29, Jay was at the foot of their driveway when a pick-up truck going 70-90 mph drove on the shoulder to pass a car and hit Jay. He was life-flighted from West Branch to Flint and has been in critical condition and a coma ever since. He has several broken bones, bruising of his internal organs, and brain swelling. He had a portion of his skull removed yesterday to relieve some of the pressure on his brain. Doctors told the family that he has a zero to slim chance that Jay will survive, and he is expected to be brain dead within the next 48 hours. Please pray for his family as they prepare for the worst-case scenario while also maintaining hope. Also pray that their financial needs will be met as they’ve taken time off work and are living in a hotel so they can be with Jay.
All praise to the Lord that my brother-in-law doesn’t have ALS, MS, or Parkinson’s! Please pray he has a full recovery from West Nile virus.
Please pray for a friend's son-in-law, Mike. He was just diagnosed with Stage 2 Nasopharyngeal cancer. He will be having 9 weeks of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation. Mike is only 37 and has a wife Jillian, and two sweet girls, Juniper and Sheila. He will likely have to take significant time off work due to his treatments, so in addition to prayers for healing, please pray that their financial needs will be met.
Continued prayers for my mom who is struggling with dementia and high blood pressure. Prayers for my husband Jim who is having heart valve surgery on 9/23/25 and also has lung cancer that will be treated after the heart surgery. Prayers for me as the care giver for my mom and my husband.
