Kids

nursery - 5th grade

about st. Michael kids

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Children's Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

quote-left

Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

kids

kindergarten - 5th grade

Our Children’s Ministry offers a safe, fun environment where the kids can learn and grow in their relationship with God. The Children’s Ministry meets every Sunday and plans fun events (like an annual VBS) throughout the year! Children will be dismissed during service for Children’s Church. Parents can pick their children up from the kid's area.

nursery

available both services & during sunday school

The nursery is provided for the comfort of your children from newborn to age four during the 9:00am and 11:00am worship services as well as during Sunday School. When you check your children in the nursery, you will receive a pager just in case your child needs you during service. If you don't think your child will be comfortable in the nursery, please bring them to worship with you. Children are always welcome!

Children's ministry sick child policy

In order to keep our nursery and classrooms as healthy as possible we ask that you please keep your child home if he or she has symptoms of an illness to include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Fever equal to or greater than 100 degrees
  • Drainage (clear or discolored) from the eyes, nose, or ears
  • Abdominal pain, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • Sore throat
  • Repetitive coughing/sneezing
  • Any contagious virus or disease (flu, mumps, chicken pox, etc.)

Children should not attend Sunday School or other programs until they are symptom free for 24 hours without the use of medication. If a child is displaying any of the above symptoms, the parent/guardian will be notified and may be asked to take their child home. We want to keep everyone as healthy as possible, including our children and teachers. The children's ministry team appreciates your help. For questions please contact the office.

American Heritage Girls

Girls K-5th grade

American Heritage Girls (AHG) was founded by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters in 1995. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

Family Camps

a Great way to refresh, renew, recharge.

Many members of our congregation have been attending Family Camps over the years.  There are a few that we will cover here.

Click on each Camp link to see additional information on their offerings and registration links.  If you have questions on the experience at each camp, ask other members for their feedback. Member representatives may be listed in the future to allow a point of contact for additional questions.
